I have this also. I think it's normal. You cant adjust the lightning of all the puzzle pieses and there holes. You can light doors and switches and are affected by schadow bulbs. I wont bother to much about it. Good luck...IP: Logged |

I have found playing with the object tints to be a little inconsistent, too. Don't forget placed lights will affect objects (but you can turn off the blue 'on' button on the lighting panel to prevent lights from casting 'color' on placed objects. This is especially useful when playing around with shadows....e.g. a shadow was placed beneath the desert jeep in the tutorial level...if the shadow effect hadn't been turned off, the jeep would appear black.) Also, doors can be tricky because they are affected by ambient light settings and/or the placed lights in the room of their origin. IP: Logged |

Thanks, I'll try to play with lights and shadows. Also, to resolve this problem, I've made a utility program that extract tiles from the BMP file which is itself extracted by STRPIX utility. It allows you to select an object, work on all its tiles and reimport them to the BMP file. By this way, I can change texture and color of any object. The boring thing is only that it's very long to find the correct coordinates of the objects. But the good thing is that saved files from my utility can be shared with anybody. When this program will be completed, I'll post a message in the forum.
